Jiada Zhao is this issue’s Sophomore of the Month. He has joined the Robotics, Anime, Chess and the Environmentalist Clubs. Jiada loves going to FDR, because FDR feels like home. He believes he is doing okay in his classes. Jiada’s favorite classes are Geometry, Global History, English, and Chemistry. Jiada originally did not want to attend FDR, but after a few months here, he quickly realized that this is more than a school- it is a community. Jiada’s advice for our upcoming sophomores is to be prepared to make new friends, but don’t forget your old friends. Jiada feels he was chosen to be this issue’s Sophomore of the Month, not because of his grades, but because of his involvement in school activities. Keep up the good work Jiada!!
