Congratulations to Ruthanny Kroegenberg, for earning the Cougar of the Month here at FDR! Ruthanny has never failed to be heavily involved within our school community. She loves how diverse, warm, and motivated the students can be. She also believes that having school events and activities make going to school exciting, knowing that there will always be a place for everyone at FDR. 

Creating an image stopped in time, and reading into the history behind the creative mindsets of photographers, Ruthanny feels very passionate about what she has accomplished while taking a photography class this year. The multitudes of editing, and basic training, has contributed to an interest in pursuing marketing in the future. 

The involvement of  Ruthanny at FDR is extensive. Her two favorites are being an Ambassador and Mediator. With being an Ambassador, she has really improved her public speaking and has gained more confidence within herself. Peer Mediation has expanded her ability to speak effectively, in a manner that allows her to communicate and come to terms with any disagreements that come her way. Her involvement within all her clubs and programs have given her fulfillment, joy, and happiness. She is always willing to learn new skills and become a better version of herself in all the right ways. 

Some friendly advice Ruthanny wishes to share with those who care to listen, is for students to live their high school years to the fullest. She believes these important years will be gone in a blink of an eye. Make friends, talk to people, have fun, but at the same time, keep your grades up and stay out of trouble. High school is a time of growth, expansion of interests, and making memories.  

Taking advantage of her junior year, Ruthanny has challenged herself in attacking all the various activities at our school. Being Cougar of the Month has much to do with her enthusiastic energy and her positive desire in helping the people around her.
