Cougars of the Month- Neisha Luce

FDR is much like home to many of the students that go here. Neisha Luce, a Cougar of the Month, is part of the vast group of students that sees FDR as a home away from home. According to her, FDR is an amazing place with talented and intelligent people. She has found many friends and people who she considers her family at FDR.

Neisha is a very talented actress, and she loves to write. It makes sense that English is her favorite subject. She has also been involved in the school Theatre Company since she started studying at FDR three years ago. She has played major roles in the school plays- such as Catherine in Pippin, Kate Monster in Avenue Q, and Rapunzel in this year’s Into the Woods. She has performed amazingly! She loves to act and sing, which is why she joined the Theatre Company in the first place.

Neisha’s advice to students at FDR is to do what they have a passion for. FDR has many clubs that fit into everyone’s interests, and you can find people that are very similar to you. She also advises that new students ignore anyone that tries to put you down or bring negativity in your life. “You don’t fight fire with fire,” she states.

Neisha believes she was chosen as a Cougar of the Month because of her hard work since freshman year.We certainly agree with her!  She has managed to keep up her grades, be part of the plays, and take care of all her responsibilities.  Once again, congratulations Neisha, and thank you for being such a great Cougar!
