Underclassmen of the Month- Annie Liu
FDR is full of students who strive to do their best in school. Every month there is a new student who we recognize, and this month Annie Liu holds the title of Underclassmen of the Month! While only being a freshman, she is ready to do her best in school. We are sure that she will become a very successful student at FDR. Annie enjoys attending FDR and has meshed very well with the Cougar crowd. She has already made many friends, and she believes the teachers are great at FDR. Annie does gymnastics, because of this, she has already joined the FDR Cheerleaders.
We are sure that she will do amazing here and hope that she will get involved in the vast number of clubs and teams that FDR has to offer. Her favorite subject in school is Global History, because she loves to learn about the experiences of people from the past. She likes to compare the past to the present time, and see how much we have evolved and developed.
Despite Global Studies being her favorite subject, she enjoys all her classes. She takes some interesting classes like Robotics, which she really enjoys. Her advice to new students at FDR is to always try. Trying your best will lead to success! It is important to pass all your classes, she states, but also says that joining clubs and teams will make the high school experience even more fun.
Annie is certainly a student that is bound to excel at whatever she does, and we hope her the best in the future. We asked Annie why she thinks that she was chosen as the Underclassmen of the Month, and her honest answer was that she has no idea. However, she believes it is because she does all her work and is able to stay on task.
Congrats Annie! We are happy to have you in the Cougar Family.
