Graciela Castelan is the Junior of the Month. She enjoys going to FDR. She thinks it’s a really friendly environment. Everyone is kind, and it’s easy to make friends. Graciela has not joined any clubs yet due to work and helping out at home. She feels like FDR is her second home, so she would never change schools. Her favorite class is U.S. History, because it challenges her to think and do her best.  According to her American History teacher, she has developed into one of the strongest students in the entire junior class. Graciela advice to upcoming juniors is to never give up and study hard.  The New Dealer is hoping Graciela gets to join some clubs next year, because she is someone every Cougar should get to know!
