Maxim Ibadov is this month’s Junior of the Month! He loves attending FDR, because it provides him with great opportunities; there are lots of amazing teachers and peers. Maxim has joined the Theater Guild and the Mock Trial Team. He wants to do Peer Mediation and the Key Club next year, because he will have more time to participate in these activities. He thinks he is doing well for a person relatively new to the United States. Maxim’s favorite class is AP American History with Mr. Sullivan, because Maxim finds history very interesting. His favorite teachers are Mr. Catalano and Ms. Olshausky, because he knows he can always get help from them. They are professionals who know how to teach. Maxim’s advice to upcoming juniors is to find a balance between your classes, afterschool actives, and SAT/ACT prep. According to Maxim, school should be the number one priority in your life. Maxims believes he was selected to be the Junior of the Month, because he has a very high average in all his classes and participated in FDR’s Theatre Guild production. Way to go Maxim!
