The Cougar Wrestling Team is looking to Pin and Win this 2018-2019 season. The team will be led by seniors Nodirbek Tursurnov, Mohamed Hassan and Eduard Dzhioev.

Our City Champion in 2017 ,Mohamed Hassan, is working hard to return to the top of the podium this season. New York State qualifier for 2018, Eduard Dzhioev, is looking to grapple his way back to a championship this year in Albany. Other returning Cougar wrestlers who look to lead our team to victory are sophomores, Aiden Alexis and Giorgi Kantroshvili, as well as seniors, Patryk Lezon and Mohammad Qasim.

With a tough division that includes New Utrecht, Madison and Murrow. The Cougars will have to give it their all to reach the top of their division. With a large turnout of new wrestlers, and experienced leaders, Coach Daiello is optimistic that this season will bring many individual medals and team victories. FDR’s Cougars look to make us all proud here in Cougar Country.
