Footwear couldn’t get any better during the summer time, there are so many styles to rock during this season! I will be going over various sneakers that give off a spring and summer vibe! This list features a lot of Nike sneakers since the brand has been debuting many new models for 2018.

Air Max 1 – The Nike Air Max 1 is a classic silhouette that is versatile and stylish and a fan favorite shoe. You can pull out these sneakers anywhere you go and pair them with shorts, jeans, and trousers. It is a streetwear staple with releases of both new and classic colors, the shoe is affordable but prices vary depending on color.

Air Vapormax – The Nike Airvapormax is one of Nike’s newest model that intrigued many consumers. In the summer, you want to be comfortable and look good and this model caters to those needs. The shoe features an air cushioning system that provides a light, bouncy, and flexible feel. It also incorporates flyknit material on the upper of the shoe which delivers support and stretch. It is currently a popular shoe in fashion, the shoe comes in different colors but the retail price might be a little hefty.

Vans Old Skool – Vans has been around for quite some time and creates great canvas shoes. The Old Skool silhouette is a classic skate shoe with a padded tongue and a cool waffle outsole. This is probably one of the best shoes that can be worn all year, because it is a simple low profile shoe. This shoe is like a grab and go shoe, because you don’t have to worry about getting it dirty since they’ll still look good with age. I don’t think there is much need to be said about this shoe, it is super affordable and goes well with anything you wear!

Asics Gel Lyte III – Asics is a brand that had its moment years ago, but the demand has declined. Nonetheless, the gel lyte models are still stylish and versatile and pretty comfortable as well! The Gel Lyte III in particular is a popular choice for the summer for its low cut and colors available. It is a casual shoe that sports the style of an old school trainer in a street-ready design. As far as construction and quality, I would say it’s fair and good for the price!

Air Max 270 – Another new model introduced by Nike is the Air Max 270. What’s interesting about this shoe is that it was inspired by other nike silhouettes. This is a lifestyle shoe with an engineered mesh in the forefoot for breathability and ventilation. Nike has been rolling out a lot of colors for this shoe and I would recommend giving it a try!

Flyknit Trainer – This classic silhouette was brought back by Nike after a long hiatus, and it’s probably my favorite Nike shoe. The shoe is made with flywire cables and a very light flyknit upper for adaptive support and ventilation. A fun fact about this shoe is that Kanye West was responsible for making this shoe popular during his time with Nike. The flyknit trainer is a nice choice for the summer as you can dress it up or down.

Converse – Another brand as classic and timeless as Vans is Converse, known for creating basic canvas shoes. It has a rubber out-sole and a nice ankle patch, I would go for the low tops for the summer. This is a shoe that will go well with anything, you can play around with it and see what suits you. Like Vans, the shoe comes in an assortment of colors and some contain unique designs on them. To make things even better, it is so affordable! There’s not much that needs to be said, converse continues to be a trendy footwear brand.
